Day 1
Landing in Hanoi
Note: Hotel check-in time is at 2:00 pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time.

Day 2
Hanoi: a full day of sightseeing & street foods.
At 8:30, meet up with your tour guide in the lobby for a full-day city tour of Hanoi. On this tour, you will explore many ancient architectures, delectable cuisine, and picturesque natural landscapes. The first attraction is Ba Dinh Square, where Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, declaring the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. To learn more about Vietnamese history, you will visit some of the architecture in this area, such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Uncle Ho’s stilt house, and the one-pillar pagoda. Next, you take a short drive to the outskirts of Hanoi to visit the fascinating Museum of Ethnology. From the outside, you will be attracted by the presentation and layout, from the form to the displayed content, which is very scientific and logical. It involves grasping the cultural colors of each ethnic group.
Lunchtime is coming! You will enjoy Chả Cá, the perfect combination of fresh noodles, grilled fish, sweet and sour sauce, and fresh vegetables, known as the Hanoian specialty since 1871. Following Lunch, you visit Hidden Gem Coffee Shop, 95% of the items in the shop are recycled furniture to protect the environment. A cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee, especially coffee with eggs, is highly recommended there.
Continue to visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, famous for its beautiful architecture, and provide further information about the Vietnamese education system. Another exciting activity awaits you! Our guide and driver will take you to Long Bien Bridge to admire the panorama river view. While walking on the 120-year-old bridge, your tour guide will tell you some stories about history, Red River Delta culture, and local daily life; the walking tour also includes a discovery of Banana Island right at the foot of the bridge.
Embark on a fun cyclo to explore 36 streets in Hanoi Old Quarter. While swaying on a Cyclo, you can enjoy the cool air, admire the Old French-style villas, observe locals’ activities, and listen to the sounds of vehicles. All create a unique experience in the journey to Vietnam.
At 5 pm, you finish the cyclo tour, meet your guide at Dong Xuan Market and start the evening street food tour. The street food tour will be a taste adventure, as Hanoi cuisine is always the kind of dish that surprises every visitor to Vietnam because of its ingredients and prices. After the tour, you will learn that more than just a list of typical Vietnamese meals sold on the streets, they also convey the beauty of the Vietnamese culture, lifestyle, feelings, and thoughts. Any dietary requirements or allergies will be notified to the guide before the tour departs.

Day 3
Hanoi – Halong: cruising through the bay
At 8:30 am., our driver will greet you in the hotel lobby and get ready to HaLong Bay. When you arrive at Tuan Chau Port, you will be served a welcome drink, a cruise briefing, and safety instructions. Get on the cruise and a Vietnamese set menu lunch will be served on time for you to enjoy.
In the afternoon, enjoy a cruise in Halong Bay to visit some of the area’s most beautiful and quiet spots, including the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, and Finger Islet. Arrive at Surprise Cave, one of Halong Bay’s most impressive grottoes.
In the evening, you will have the opportunity to attend our Head Chef’s fruit and vegetable carving lesson, showing visitors how to prepare and decorate traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and it’s time for your dinner. You can enjoy some evening activities on the boat, such as massage services and board games such as cards or Parcheesi, especially squid fishing with the crew’s guidance.

Day 4
Halong – Hanoi – fly to Hue
This morning, you will engage in a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck for 30 minutes. Relax your body with the instructor’s approaches. The following morning, boats transport tourists to Titov Island. You’ll spend approximately an hour on the island for swimming and climbing, which is enough time to climb to the highest point for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the bay.
After your excursion to Titov Island, you’ll return to the cruise for a substantial lunch before heading to the mainland. When returning to the pier, take in the spectacular majesty of HaLong Bay from the sundeck.
When you arrive at Tuan Chau port, our private driver will meet you there and transport you to Noi Bai airport. You’ll take a one-hour flight to Hue today to continue your journey. Your driver and guide will meet you at the Phú Bài airport and transport you to your cozy hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day in Hue.

Day 5
Hue – Imperial city tour
Head back to the city center for a 2-hours exploration of the imperial city that dates back centuries. While seeing the magnificent architecture and gardens, you can listen to our guide tell stories about the Nguyen Dynasty. The morning tour continues with visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, a beautiful and ancient architecture located on the bank of the poetic Perfume River.
After a break for lunch, you will drive to the outskirts to visit the royal tomb of King Khai Dinh to discover the blend of Western and Eastern architecture. Then visit the royal tomb of King Tu Duc, where you can be impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural construction. With further information from our tour guide, you will learn about Feng Shui and how this affected royal life.
On the way back to the hotel, you will stop to visit two traditional rural villages of conical hats & incense sticks. I Arrived at the hotel around 5:00 pm.

Day 6
Train to Da Nang – Hoi An ancient town – Tea Tasting
You are arriving at Da Nang train station, where our local guide and driver are waiting for you with a welcome signboard. After greetings, you are driven to the UNESCO heritage town of Hoi An. On the way, you stop to visit Marble Mountain – A popular place for spiritual retreat and pilgrimage, it is composed of several Buddhist pagodas, remnants of the Champa civilization and caves inside the mountains, natural caves were formed by erosion, water, and the passage of time. Arrive Hoi An, enjoy a tasty lunch and check-in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you can experience a slow-paced lifestyle by taking a city tour of UNESCO landmarks. On the walking tour, you will visit original temples, ancient houses, and community halls while fragrant food stalls dot the sidewalks, allowing locals to share their culinary culture. The second part of this afternoon is learning how to make a colorful lantern. You will visit a family with a tradition of making lanterns. Here, you can see many different types of lanterns, and with the guidance of a lantern craftsman, you will make your favorite one.
Before ending the day, your guide will bring you to the Tea House, a tranquil oasis in the center of bustling Hoi An. Delicious coffee, tea, fruit juices and biscuits are served in the charming atmosphere of an ancient, tastefully decorated house in the heart of the town. The grace and charm of our speech and hearing-impaired staff will warm your heart as you savor the silence of this experience. As first-time travelers here, we highly recommend the Vietnamese Tea Tasting Set for your group. You can Choose 3 varieties from the tea offerings on our menu. The options include Green, Oolong, Jasmine or Organic Herbal tea. Each tea is served in an individual handmade pot and is accompanied by cookies that pair well with the flavors of the teas.

Fly to Bangkok – Rice barge dinner cruise
In the afternoon, your private driver will collect you from the hotel and send you to Da Nang International Airport. Today, you will take a flight to Bangkok, it takes you 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, go to the arrival hall and look for a welcome signboard with your name on it. After meeting up with our representative, you are transferred to a hotel downtown for check in.
The vibrant and bustling nightlife in Bangkok city always attracts both travelers and locals. However, instead of wandering the streets or going to sky bars, you can experience a rice barge dinner cruise to get a new and more unique view. Let’s enjoy the evening with the Manohra Cruise, which impresses passengers with its nostalgic design; inspired by the traditional rice barge of Thailand. That creates a feeling of familiarity, closeness, and ancientness. On the Manohra Cruise, you will enjoy the cozy and pleasant atmosphere of the gentle Chao Phraya River. Enjoy the scenic views of both sides of the Chao Phraya River as the cruise passes through Wat Arun Temple of Dawn, Grand Palace, Royal Boathouse, and many other famous landmarks. Only 2 hours “roaming” on the Chao Phraya River, you will have unforgettable and very authentic experiences.

Day 10
Bangkok city tour – Food tour by tuk-tuk
After breakfast at the hotel, you start to discover Bangkok with your private tour guide and driver.
Your first stop is at Wat Traimit to visit the largest Golden Buddha statue in the world (3m high, weighs 5.5 tons, and is carved in solid gold). Your next visit is to Wat Pho to admire the massive reclining Buddha statue, which represents the entry of Buddha into Nirvana and the end of all reincarnations. Just 800m from Wat Pho, you will visit the Grand Palace. The dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok and a must-see.
Evening:
What could be more wonderful than ending a long day of sightseeing with a culinary discovery journey by Tuk Tuk – a very popular sort of vehicle in Thailand in particular and a few Southeast Asian countries in general. At Sam Yan MRT, you’ll hop on a Tuk Tuk with our professional guide and head straight to the first location, a Northeastern Thai restaurant. The region’s most popular dishes such as spicy raw papaya salad, deep-fried crispy catfish meat with spicy sauce, spicy pork salad, and spicy pork meatballs will be served. Surely you will be overwhelmed by the unique cuisine of the land of the Golden Temple.
It’s perhaps a regret if you miss the chicken crispy noodle dish. Therefore, the next destination that Viland Travel arranges for your dining journey is a very famous restaurant for this one, with a choice of runny or well-cooked eggs. If you’re feeling a bit full and need a digestion break, walk to the flower market or nearby temple of Wat Pho. In case you still want to continue to conquer Thai cuisine, Bangkok’s best Pad Thai will be your next target. Your food tour by night will end with the stunning views of the Chao Phraya River from a local rooftop bar, where you enjoy a beer or soft drink. Then our expert guide and Tuk Tuk driver will take you back to the hotel for relaxing.

Day 11
Bangkok – Damnoel Saduak Floating Market
Following the train market, you will drive 20km north to visit the first must-see of the Damnoen Saduak floating market. Upon arrival, you can spend time meandering along the canal, see the pleasant bustle of people and commerce. Then you will embark on a boat for an adventure through canals and backwaters. While rowing a boat, you can enjoy the authentic countryside ambiance and the smell of food wafting through the market. You also observe many merchants selling food, fruit, and local products. To capture amazing photographs here, keep your camera close at hand at all times.
After visiting the floating market, your boat trip continues through the winding canals, seeing the beautiful countryside of Southern Ratchaburi Province with distant villages, gardens, and plantations. At the end of your canal rowing adventure, you will arrive at the pier, meet up with your private driver, and head back to your hotel in Bangkok. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city.

Day 12
Bangkok – fly to Chiang Mai: city tour
At 13:30, you take the gondola to the Gold Temple on top of the Mountain. You can admire a golden spire that decorates the center of the complex inside the main temple; the walls around it are decorated with historical murals, shrines & statues. There is also a replica of the Emerald Buddha statue on display. Outside, you can see the Shine of the White Elephant, a viewing terrace, some of the world’s largest gongs, a wall of bells, and so much more. Then, you walk the 309 steps down the Naga Serpent (the body of a dragon) staircase to meet your private driver.
Then, you return to downtown Chiang Mai to visit the Three Kings Monuments and the Chiang Mai City Arts and Culture Center. Note: The Chiang Mai Arts & Culture Center is closed on Monday and during the Songkran Festival. Opening hours from Tuesday-Sunday are 8:30-17:00.
Note: Please remember to dress respectfully or you are not allowed to enter. You are required to remove your shoes while walking around inside the main temple. There are shoe racks to store your shoes, or you could put them in your backpack.

Day 13
Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon National Park
Look up at the sky highlighted by colorful birds, such as the green-tailed sunbirds, the oriental magpie-robins, the orioles, and pigeons. Walk through the park on picturesque trails lined with old trees and exotic flora.
Rest at Sirithan Falls and enjoy a delicious lunch while admiring the misty waterfall surrounded by evergreens and songbirds. Keep moving to the Wachirathan Falls – the second largest waterfall in Doi Inthanon – a place that might hold you back for 20 minutes to marvel at the wide streamlines that cascade from 60–80 meters down to rocky peaks.
The trip ends with a visit to a pair of striking pagodas built on top of the mountain, called King & Queen pagodas. Stand on the wooden bridge to admire the graceful architecture and observe their reflection on the calm lake, and you can feel peace of mind.
After spending a day immersing yourself in the serene and natural beauty of Doi Inthanon, you jump on the van and return to Chiang Mai downtown. You can expect to arrive at your hotel around 17:30. The evening you are free to stroll around the Old Quarter.

Day 14
Chiang Mai – one day with elephants
The emphasis is on caring for our pregnant elephants and mothers with babies. You will learn about the conservation philosophy called “The Elephant Conservation In Action” and participate in the daily healthcare routine, which includes health inspection, feeding, walking with the elephants for exercise, and bathing. It is a great chance to observe the elephants interacting with their families in natural environments. Patara’s knowledgeable staff will provide you with further information regarding their daily care.
This trip will not include riding elephants. It is suitable for all, especially friends, families with children, and animal lovers.

Day 15
Chiang Mai – departure
The morning is at your leisure, allowing you to have the last visit to the Old City. You’ll meet your private driver at the hotel lobby and soon arrive at Chiang Mai airport. Be prepared for your flight back home.
